Pause, resume, cancel campaigns and track per-recipient delivery events.
Once a campaign is sent, you have live controls to manage it. SalesWhiz supports pausing a campaign mid-send, resuming it later, and permanently cancelling it. You also get a per-recipient event log showing exactly which contacts received, had errors, or are still pending delivery.
These controls are available in the Campaign Detail view — go to Dashboard > Campaigns and click any active campaign.
A campaign moves through the following states:
The campaign has been created but not yet sent. You can edit all fields.
The campaign is scheduled to start at a future date/time. You can still edit or cancel it.
The campaign is actively sending to recipients.
Sending is halted. No new messages go out until you resume.
All recipients have been processed. The campaign cannot be restarted.
The campaign was stopped permanently before completion.
You can pause a running campaign at any time. Messages already delivered are not recalled — pausing only stops new messages from being sent to remaining recipients.
To pause: open the campaign detail and click Pause. To resume: click Resume. Sending continues from where it left off — recipients who already received the message will not get it again.
Cancelling is permanent and cannot be undone. Once cancelled, a campaign cannot be restarted — you would need to create a new campaign. Only recipients who have not yet been processed will be skipped; messages already delivered remain with those recipients.
To cancel: open the campaign detail, click Cancel, and confirm in the dialog.
The Recipients tab in the campaign detail shows a row for every contact in the campaign with their delivery event status:
Message has not been sent yet — this contact is still in the queue.
Message was handed to the messaging platform for delivery.
The platform confirmed the message reached the recipient's device.
The recipient opened the message (available for WhatsApp).
Delivery failed — the contact may have an invalid number or blocked messaging.
