Email settings let you configure how SalesWhiz sends emails on your behalf — whether for campaigns, notifications, or transactional messages.
SalesWhiz supports SMTP and SendGrid as email delivery providers. Choose the one that best fits your needs and budget.
To use your own SMTP server, go to Dashboard > Settings > Emails. Enter your SMTP host, port, username, password, and sender email address.
Common SMTP providers include Gmail (smtp.gmail.com), Outlook (smtp.office365.com), and custom mail servers. Make sure to enable TLS/SSL for secure email delivery.
Create reusable email templates for your campaigns and communications. Each template includes HTML content for rich formatting and a plain text fallback.
Navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Email Templates to create, edit, and preview your templates. The editor supports rich text formatting, images, and custom HTML.
Ensure your emails reach the inbox by following these deliverability best practices:
Set up DNS records for your domain to authenticate your emails and prevent spam flagging.
Always send from the same email address to build sender reputation.
Remove invalid email addresses from your contact list to maintain list hygiene.
Don't use all caps, excessive exclamation marks, or spam-trigger words in subject lines.
