Upload, manage, and optimize product images for your online shop.
Great product images are one of the most powerful drivers of online sales. SalesWhiz handles image storage, processing, and CDN delivery automatically — all you need to do is upload the image during product creation or editing.
Images you upload are stored in Google Cloud Storage and served via a global CDN for fast loading anywhere in the world. SalesWhiz automatically converts images to WebP format for optimal file size without quality loss.
You can upload or change a product image when creating or editing a product in your inventory.
Go to Dashboard > Inventories and open an existing product or click Add Product.
Click the image placeholder or the existing image. A file picker dialog opens.
Choose a JPEG, PNG, or WebP file from your device. Images must be under 10 MB.
SalesWhiz uploads the file to secure cloud storage and processes it. A preview appears when complete.
Click Save Product. The image is now associated with this product and will appear in your shop.
SalesWhiz accepts the three most common web image formats. Files outside these formats or above the size limit will be rejected with an error message.
Best for photographs and complex images with many colors. Supported up to 10 MB.
Best for images with transparency or sharp edges (logos, illustrations). Supported up to 10 MB.
Once uploaded, your product images are stored in Google Cloud Storage (GCS) and delivered to customers via a global CDN. This means images load fast for customers anywhere in the world regardless of where SalesWhiz servers are located.
Image URLs are permanent — they will not change if you update other product details. If you replace an image, a new URL is assigned to the replacement.
You can replace a product image at any time without affecting the product's availability, price, or any other field. Open the product editor, click the current image, and upload the new one. The old image is removed from storage automatically.
To remove an image without replacing it, click the X button on the image preview in the product editor. The product will display a placeholder image in your shop until a new image is uploaded.
If you encounter an error while uploading a product image, here are the most common causes and solutions:
The image exceeds 10 MB. Compress the image using a tool like TinyPNG or Squoosh before uploading.
Only JPEG, PNG, and WebP are accepted. Convert HEIC (iPhone photos) to JPEG using your device's sharing options or an online converter.
Modern format offering the best size-to-quality ratio. Recommended when available. Supported up to 10 MB.
Check your internet connection. Large files on slow connections may time out. Try on Wi-Fi or compress the image first.
SalesWhiz compresses images for web delivery. Upload a higher-resolution source image (at least 800×800 px) for best results.
